Lac Boivin Nature Interpretation Center

For more than 40 years, the Lac Boivin Nature Interpretation Center has offered you an exceptional natural environment, just a few minutes from downtown Granby. Get back in touch with nature by walking our fully accessible trails, including more than 400 meters of wooden walkways. Interpretation panels accompany your visit and inform you about the rich biodiversity of the CINLB. In summer, a bike path surrounds the marsh and, in winter, trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fatbiking complete the walking trails.

Along the marsh or from the top of one of our observation towers, admire the diverse flora and fauna. Depending on the season, you can see wood ducks, snapping turtles, white-tailed deer, mink... in addition to a wide variety of birds. Moreover, the protected territory of the CINLB is recognized as an area of ??importance for the conservation of birds (IBA), where more than 250 species have been observed. A garden for birds has also been set up to attract different species. Take advantage of your walk to feed a chickadee at your fingertips and take superb photographs!

Activities are offered throughout the year. Guided tours and nature classes, presented by naturalists, are also offered by reservation. Come and learn more about the fascinating history of the CINLB and its environment.

Inside the reception pavilion, you will find various services such as room rental for your conferences and events. The pavilion is open every day, except December 24, 25, 26 and 31, and January 1 and 2. The CINLB is a non-profit organization dedicated to education and land conservation since 1980.
