Sépaq invites you to explore its national parks and create memorable experiences.  For over 30 years, this organisation has had the privilege of managing, developing and showcasing magnificent natural settings, thus offering millions of visitors distinctive and unforgettable experiences at the heart of nature all year round.

Sépaq, or the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec, is a government agency that manages 46 establishments grouped into three networks. It includes 23 national parks, a marine park, 13 wildlife reserves and 8 tourism centres. In all, the territory covers more than 50,000 square kilometres (31,068 square miles) of natural delights spread out across the province of Quebec. Many outdoor and discovery activities are offered in the company of qualified guides, as well as a vast choice of different accommodations. Sépaq parks are the perfect place to enjoy family vacations and romantic getaways while getting out and having fun in natural settings!

In summer, Québec’s 24 national parks offer a wealth of incredible sights, whether you’re on foot, in a canoe or in a kayak. All of this protected land presents an opportunity to get in touch with nature and make surprising discoveries. Québec’s national parks welcome all nature lovers, with abundant and diverse fauna, and some 200 trails where hikers can seek out breathtaking views. Practise water sports on the parks’ immense lakes, surrounded by idyllic scenery. Here, nature becomes not only a source of inspiration and replenishment, but also a huge playground. At dusk, head back to your campsite, ready-to-camp tent, cottage or yurt to relax next to the campfire and regain your strength for the next adventure-filled day.

In winter, put on your boots, snowshoes or cross-country skis: you have an important date with a snowy mountaintop and a picture-perfect landscape. Sépaq offers a wide range of stimulating outdoor activities that are sure to warm you up no matter how sensitive you are to the cold. Don’t bother trying to resist the spell of your surroundings; you are in fact in a winter wonderland. Keep your eyes peeled: you might spot the tracks of a number of elusive animals, such as moose and foxes. Come nightfall, you may even hear the hooting of a barred owl. And where can you spend a cozy night in the cold season? Try a cottage, a yurt, a shelter or even a four-star inn—the options abound!
