During winter, Mount Royal welcomes visitors of all ages with a wide range of outdoor activities and an equipment rental service that helps you enjoy memorable moments with family or friends. Whether you prefer tubing, skating, hiking or snowshoeing, everyone can find their favourite way to explore the mountain under a blanket of snow. To round out your outing, two Cafés offer hot meals, snacks and comforting drinks, while the shop features winter clothing, accessories and souvenirs — perfect to treat yourself or to give as a gift. Every visit promises a unique experience in the heart of Montréal’s winter.
No equipment? No problem!
Our rental counters offer cross-country skis, snowshoes and skates for adults and children. You can also enjoy snow tubing all winter long.
Good news: a 20% discount applies to all rentals (tubes, skates, snowshoes and cross-country skis) from Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. until closing.

Shop & stay cosy.
The shop has everything you need to enjoy winter comfortably: toques, mittens, and winter-ready clothing. You’ll also find a selection of treats and souvenirs: tote bags, plush toys, magnets and more. Perfect to bring home or gift to someone special!

Our two cafés offer hot and cold beverages, snacks and meals. Don’t miss our winter must-try: the raclette sandwich, melted, comforting and absolutely delicious.
