Railway Christmas
From November 23 to December 30

Exporail transports visitors into the magic of Christmas. The Grand Gallery is decked out in its finest lights, creating a festive atmosphere, and several vehicles are decorated and illuminated. Special activities are offered, and even Santa Claus himself joins in! Railway Christmas is a must-see event for the whole family.

Meeting Santa Claus
Children can send their letters to Santa in the postal car from November 22 to December 15 and meet him in the Grand Gallery on December 14, 15, 21, and 22, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (information provided by the elves).

Exporail Christmas Train ($)
The special Christmas train will once again be back this year, much to everyone’s delight. Our dear Santa will make appearances, and perhaps Mrs. Claus or his elves will join him... don’t forget to reserve your seats!

  • Dates: November 30, December 7 and 8
  • Departure times: 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
  • Duration: 15 minutes (please arrive 30 minutes early to facilitate boarding)

Tea Service
The program includes a tour of the Canada car, followed by tea service in the same vehicle.

Have you ever dreamed of enjoying tea in an authentic historical setting? Now you can with our tea service experience offered in the Canada car! Built in 1898 for the president of the Grand Trunk Railway, the Canada executive car served as a mobile office for Charles Melville Hays until 1912. It was later used until the mid-1960s.
