As soon as the good weather arrives, the swimming pools of the Parc Jean-Drapeau Aquatic Complex are ready to welcome swimmers! Whether it's for a family swim, to cool off and bask in the sun, or to swim laps, the Aquatic Complex's recreational pool has something for all swimming enthusiasts. Divided into several sectors, this huge swimming pool can accommodate both toddlers, thanks to secure access via the gradual slope, and older children who simply want to play in the water.
Parc Jean-Drapeau also offers a host of outdoor activities including ping-pong tables, swings, kilometers of bike paths including the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, some fifteen works of public art, as well as as many gardens and walking paths with exceptional views of downtown Montreal. In addition to hosting the Casino de Montréal, La Ronde and the Biosphere, the Park is also host to major cultural and sporting events including the OSHEAGA festival and the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada.
