Located in the heart of Regard-sur-le-Fleuve Park in Sorel-Tracy, the Biophare offers exhibitions, activities, cultural events, and guided tours that allow you to discover, in a surprising and original way, the multiple heritage dimensions of the Sorel-Tracy, Pierre-De Saurel, the Lac Saint-Pierre World Biosphere Reserve, and the Saint Lawrence River territories. From one room to another, visitors are transported into a fascinating universe that juxtaposes nature and culture.
The Biophare also offers 3-hour nautical excursions in the heart of the Lac Saint-Pierre archipelago aboard the Randonnée nature, allowing you to learn more about the richness of the territory.
The aluminum-hulled inflatable boat built by AIRSOLID, accommodating 12 people, navigates through a multitude of characteristic channels of this insular environment. Whether it's the Chenal du Moine, Chenal aux Raisins, Chenal de la Batture aux Carpes, or Chenal de la Sauvagesse, you will be amazed by the area's unexpected richness.
