Known for the quality of its fishing, the territory features 45 lakes where visitors can enjoy different techniques, including light tackle, trolling and fly fishing. Anglers can explore the waters in search of native brook trout while enjoying the peaceful surroundings and scenery.
Boats are available for visitors, and motor rentals make it easier to explore the different fishing areas across the territory.
Explore a Vast Hunting Territory
The outfitter offers hunters access to a 45 km² territory featuring lakes, trails and designated hunting areas. Depending on the season, visitors can hunt moose, black bear and small game, including grouse, hare and duck.
For moose and black bear hunting, exclusive areas are available to groups through packages that include accommodation and hunting rights. ATV access also makes it possible to explore the territory and reach different hunting areas.
Stay in a Comfortable Cabin in the Forest
After a day of fishing, hunting or outdoor activities, unwind in one of the outfitter’s cabins. Approximately ten three- and four-star cabins are available around the main Lac des Baies, accommodating groups of 2 to 15 guests.
Each cabin is equipped with the essentials for preparing meals and enjoying a comfortable stay in the forest. Some cabins at Lac Castor offer a more secluded setting and welcome guests travelling with their pets.
