La TOHU contributes to make Montreal an international capital of circus arts. It also participates in the incredible growth of the Quebec and international circus by offering a line-up that puts it at the forefront. Many circus shows are presented at la TOHU, as well as exhibitions and family activities of all kinds.
La TOHU also acts as a reception and interpretation pavilion for Frédéric-Back Park, a model of transformation and environmental engineering. It offers a wide range of educational activities related to the environment and guarantees the highest standards of eco-responsible event organization.

La Chute des Anges
July 2–5 – TOHU – Circular Hall
What would become of our world if even angels could no longer fly?
This poetic vision of the future explores our present through a controlled, dystopian world. In a cold society where machines dominate and people are formatted, fallen angels wander through a metallic and oppressive universe. They long to rise in a confined environment where nature has lost its rights, under grey skies and burnt ground. Yet the desire to live and resist remains stronger than everything. Between conformity, submission, and the urge for freedom, a path opens: the possibility of escape. Blending circus, dance, theatre, and film, Raphaëlle Boitel creates a visually powerful work. Chinese pole, acrobatics, and aerial skills embody a sensitive struggle for emancipation. An ode to freedom, filled with dark fantasy and cruel humour, this creation becomes a song of resistance: a breath of air, an escape toward the light.
St.art
July 7–12 – TOHU – Circular Hall
A vibrant tribute to sport and the art of movement, St.art offers an intense stage experience where the body becomes language. Performed by real athletes, including a Czech trampoline champion, the show explores universal emotions such as euphoria, triumph, and self-overcoming, bringing together the journeys of athletes and artists. With Cirk La Putyka, St.art blends powerful visuals and raw emotion in a celebration of movement and of those who push their limits.
