Montreal

The MEM – Centre des mémoires montréalaises continues the legacy of the Montreal History Center by offering a rich immersion into the metropolis's past. Visit the intersection of Saint-Laurent and Sainte-Catherine streets to discover its new museum and citizen spaces in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles, where Montreal's history comes alive in captivating new forms. The MEM gives privileged space to the voices of citizens from yesterday and today, thus adding a human and vibrant dimension to its narrative. By bringing together and highlighting the testimonies of different communities, it weaves a complex and diversified story of Montreal's history.

Beyond its walls, the MEM extends throughout various neighborhoods of the city, thus taking the pulse of the population and adapting to contemporary realities. Moreover, numerous activities are accessible online, including captivating podcasts or interactive educational programs, offering an immersive experience even from a distance.

The MEM - Montreal Memory Center is much more than just a museum; it is the guardian and storyteller of the multiple identities and stories that shape the city of Montreal.
