All year long, the Huron-Wendat Museum offers a variety of activities designed to provide you with an authentic cultural experience in Wendake, located just 20 kilometers from Québec City. The museum features a historical collection that highlights the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of this ancient Indigenous nation.

Visits are centered around the permanent exhibition “Wendat, Endi’ we the Wendat”, as well as temporary exhibits and the on-site traditional longhouse.
After exploring our permanent exhibition Wendat Endi', which highlights the emblematic figures and other lesser-known individuals in the history of our Nation, immerse yourself in the richness of our present with our exhibition that gives a voice to Manon Sioui, a Wendat artist. Born into a family where traditional Wendat art held an important place, she specializes in beadwork, moosehair embroidery, porcupine quill embroidery, as well as several other traditional techniques.

The exhibition Every Day, I Remember is based on real historical facts and is intended as a recognition and tribute to the ancestors and to the Wendat people of today. I remember their history, which, through time, has too often been forgotten by others. The battles they had to face every day humbly resemble some of those we still have to face today in peace and harmony, namely the protection of species, the environment, the territory, and burial sites.
