Le Parc du canal de Soulanges offers you a unique nature, cycling, nautical and heritage experience!

Stretching over 23.5 km, the Soulanges Canal is an old waterway linking the municipalities of Pointe-des-Cascades, Les Cèdres, Coteau-du-Lac and Les Coteaux. Vaudreuil-Soulanges has an authentic heritage and our proximity to the water promises majestic landscapes. Our agricultural producers are welcoming and like to share their terroir, rich in flavors. Here, we like to play outside and our vibrant cultural attractions inspire creativity.

Soulanges bike path
The Soulanges bike path runs along the canal for its first 23.5 km (from Pointe-des-Cascades to Les Coteaux) and then continues its way through the municipalities of Saint-Zotique and Rivière-Beaudette, for a total of 35 km of trail asphalted.

Along the track you will find many rest areas with bike repair stations, sanitary facilities, furniture to relax and clear signs to guide you.

The Soulanges Canal Park offers you a winter outdoor experience thanks to a snowy program full of adventures! A range of activities for all outdoor enthusiasts is offered to you, in a landscape that transforms into a magical winter playground.

Soulanges cycle path, in winter: Walkers, runners, and fans of bikes with oversized wheels, be aware that the Soulanges cycle path, which runs along the Soulanges canal, is cleared of snow and passable in winter, from Pointe-des-Cascades to Les Coteaux. Come and stroll there in complete peace and quiet and marvel at its landscapes.

Winter hiking and bird watching at the Pointe-des-Cascades nature park: Explore the beauty of the Pointe-des-Cascades nature park, located at the eastern end of the Soulanges Canal Park. You will discover hiking trails specially designed for the season. Put on your snowshoes or your bike with oversized wheels, and discover the tranquillity of the snowy landscapes while observing the local wildlife that flourishes, even in winter! The Pointe-des-Cascades nature park is a winter refuge for many species of birds. Explore the local birding trail system to discover the area's unique avian life during the colder months.
