Stretching over 23.5 km, the Soulanges Canal is an old waterway linking the municipalities of Pointe-des-Cascades, Les Cèdres, Coteau-du-Lac and Les Coteaux. Vaudreuil-Soulanges has an authentic heritage and our proximity to the water promises majestic landscapes. Our agricultural producers are welcoming and like to share their terroir, rich in flavors. Here, we like to play outside and our vibrant cultural attractions inspire creativity.

Soulanges bike path
The Soulanges bike path runs along the canal for its first 23.5 km (from Pointe-des-Cascades to Les Coteaux) and then continues its way through the municipalities of Saint-Zotique and Rivière-Beaudette, for a total of 35 km of trail asphalted.
Along the track you will find many rest areas with bike repair stations, sanitary facilities, furniture to relax and clear signs to guide you.

Enjoying calm, motor-free waters, the inner basins of the Soulanges Canal are perfect for beginner paddlers or those seeking a contemplative, sporty, and safe experience. At the mouths, connections to Lake Saint-François and Lake Saint-Louis offer open water, breathtaking views, and conditions appreciated by both paddlers and boaters.

For a quieter, yet equally exciting outing, paddle along the Soulanges Canal!
A kiosk located near the Soulanges Canal trail, close to 20, rue Principale in Coteau-du-Lac, allows you to rent boats.
With these two rental centers, outdoor and adventure enthusiasts will be delighted!
