Fall comes alive in Lanaudière with the return of the Pumpkin Festival on October 10 and 11, 2026, at Chute-à-Bull Regional Park in Saint-Côme.

For two festive days, visitors are invited to enjoy pumpkins, Halloween decorations, traditional music, local flavours and family activities in one of the region’s most beautiful natural settings.

From the moment you arrive, decorated trails and seasonal displays create a festive atmosphere throughout the park. Surrounded by colourful fall landscapes, visitors can enjoy a unique outdoor experience that combines nature and autumn traditions.

Throughout the weekend, guests can watch professional artists from Créations Riopel create impressive pumpkin and straw sculptures. These remarkable creations become one of the highlights of the festival and provide memorable photo opportunities for visitors of all ages.

Families will love the popular Halloween rock hunt, an activity that continues until all the hidden rocks have been found. Children can also enjoy face painting while complimentary candy, popcorn and hot chocolate are distributed throughout the day while supplies last.

Live traditional music adds to the festive atmosphere. On October 10, visitors can enjoy a performance by Les frères Baillargeon, while Jean-François Branchaud and Éric Beaudry take the stage on October 11. Their performances celebrate the musical traditions that have made Saint-Côme a well-known destination for traditional Quebec folk music.

The festival is also a great opportunity to discover local products, regional flavours and talented artisans from the area. Visitors can meet local creators, explore handcrafted products and enjoy a taste of the region throughout the weekend.

Between activities, take time to explore Chute-à-Bull Regional Park, known for its hiking trails, scenic lookout and impressive 18-metre waterfall. The fall colours create a spectacular backdrop and make October one of the best times of year to experience the park.

Whether you are planning a family outing, a fall getaway or simply looking for a memorable outdoor experience, the Pumpkin Festival offers a wonderful way to celebrate the season in Lanaudière.
