The sugaring season from February 17 to May 4
During the sugaring season at Sucrerie de la Montagne, offered only in February, March, and April, visitors are immersed in an authentic Québécois tradition. Whether it's during the week or on the weekend, the process remains faithful to the old-fashioned methods: tapping maple trees using gouderelles (spouts) and buckets, and then transforming the sap into syrup in a traditional wood-fired evaporator. Come experience the timeless art of maple syrup production amidst the rustic charm of Sucrerie de la Montagne. Between horse-drawn carriage rides through snow-covered maple groves, tastings of freshly prepared maple taffy on the snow, and delicious traditional Québécois meals, every visitor is invited to discover the cultural and gastronomic richness of this emblematic season. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the Sugaring Season at Sucrerie de la Montagne is an essential celebration of Québécois tradition and generosity of the land.
