In the heart of Old Wendake, during the INTERNATIONAL POW WOW, experience a living celebration with dancers and drummers from various First Nations, both local and international. From the sacred Grand Entry to the powerful emotion evoked by the drumbeats—symbolizing the heartbeat of Mother Earth—attend various traditional dance competitions where physical endurance, individual style, and the vibrant colors of each Nation’s Regalia are proudly showcased.

More than 40 artisan booths from First Nations await you, offering an incredible variety of authentic handmade creations that celebrate ancestral traditions and craftsmanship. Unique pieces that will allow you to take home a meaningful keepsake.

Come explore a fascinating world of culture and art! Conferences, workshops, traditional foods, Indigenous performances, and much more.

A Site Accessible to All

Access to the Pow Wow site in Wendake is completely free. You are invited to freely browse the artisan booths, attend conferences, and enjoy the on-site food trucks.
Please note: access to the Dance Circle for the competitions requires a paid ticket.

Ticket Prices (Dance Circle access):

  • Ages 13 and up: $12.95
  • Ages 6 to 12: $6.25
  • Ages 0 to 5: Free
  • General site access: Free

Programming and online ticketing available starting May 23
On-site tickets will be available depending on capacity.
