June 26 to 28, 2026 | www.powwowwendake.ca

In the heart of Old Wendake, let yourself be carried away by the energy, songs and powerful drumbeats of the Wendake International Pow Wow, a vibrant celebration where culture, traditions and emotions come to life.

Over three unforgettable days, the Wendake International Pow Wow invites visitors to experience the richness and diversity of First Nations cultures in a warm, welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.

On Friday, immerse yourself in Wendat culture during a full day dedicated to traditions, cultural performances and storytelling. From the Dance Circle to the conference spaces, discover a living culture shared through demonstrations, conversations and knowledge proudly passed down from generation to generation.

On Saturday and Sunday, experience the excitement of traditional dance competitions featuring dancers and drum groups from different First Nations communities from across Canada and beyond. Between the vibrant colours of the Regalia, the powerful rhythm of the drums representing the heartbeat of Mother Earth and the energy of the Dance Circle, every moment becomes a moving and unforgettable experience.

Throughout the weekend, visitors are also invited to explore the Artisan Trail featuring more than 45 Indigenous artisans. Behind every handcrafted creation lies a story, a tradition and a unique ancestral knowledge passed down through generations. Jewelry, artwork, clothing, carvings and authentic handmade pieces showcase living cultures filled with meaning, creativity and pride.
