Vaudreuil-Soulanges Regional Museum

Installed in a former boys’ school built around 1847, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Regional Museum welcomes you in the heart of Old Vaudreuil, in a building classified as a historic monument. With a collection of more than 9,500 objects recognized as being of national interest and four exhibition rooms, the Museum offers a rich and authentic immersion into the history, heritage, and way of life of the region.

The visit opens with Through the Windows of the School… A Glimpse into Our History, a permanent exhibition that reveals the many facets of the local past. To this is added a dynamic program of contemporary exhibitions that reflects the artistic vitality of the region. This winter, visitors will be able to discover 60 Years of Exhibitions – A Collection to Share, a notable retrospective that highlights the Museum’s historical importance. They will also be able to dive into the intimate and unique universe of Roger Maillet and the Passion of Objects, presented until January 18, 2026, or explore the vibrant paintings of Alejandro Senn in Trio Trayectoria, on display until December 21, 2025. Finally, Cultural Contamination 2025 will brighten the end of the year with a collective proposal inspired by the current creative diversity, to be discovered until December 19, 2025.

A variety of cultural activities enriches the programming. Families can count on Cyprienne, the mouse mascot from the Museum’s children’s books, to accompany young visitors in a playful discovery, notably thanks to the family kit. Adults, meanwhile, enjoy conferences, creative workshops, and meetings with artists, which punctuate the season and foster dialogue around art and heritage.

A stop by the Museum’s boutique completes the experience: you’ll find unique creations by local artists, artisans, and producers—perfect for offering original gifts during the holiday season.
