This park is the perfect place to stretch your legs, all year round! Along the banks of the St. Lawrence, discover surprising atmospheres where you will come across marshes, peat bogs, ancestral pines on 14 km of trails via our footbridge, interpretation stations on nature and heritage, the observatory and the promenade on the river.
The Regional Park of Grèves carries the project to create a park accessible to all, in an exceptional natural space. Composed of a mixed forest, a century-old pine forest, several peat bogs, this territory which borders the banks of the St. Lawrence offers an astonishing variety of ecosystems where the conservation of the territory and outdoor activities complement each other advantageously.
Summer Activities at Parc Régional des Grèves
At Parc Régional des Grèves, summer activities include hiking through our winding trails, as well as adventure activities on our specially designed course for children aged 5 to 12. In spring, it's the perfect time to explore our hiking trails. Wander through our fifteen kilometers of winding paths and let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the Montérégie forest unfolding before your amazed eyes. In summer, under the generous summer sun, our park becomes the stage for a multitude of outdoor activities. For young adventurers, our adventure course offers sixteen carefully designed play modules to provide stimulating challenges while fostering a connection with nature. Children aged 5 to 12 can navigate from module to module, exploring and having fun in the heart of the forest. In autumn, it's the perfect time for a family getaway, one last hike before winter arrives. Explore our trails dotted with golden and red leaves, and let yourself be enchanted by the magic of the season.

Parc régional des Grèves Cross Country Ski School
- Affiliated with Ski de fond Québec
- Online registration, courses start on January 7, 2023
- A la carte courses: Private, semi-private, group courses (family, friends and organization) lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes for all (adults and children). These courses are offered à la carte, it is possible to purchase more than one course. We suggest four classes.
- Youth group: Saturdays for 1.5 hours and weekday evenings.
- Parallel courses: It is possible to take an adult course at the same time as the children's course.
Cross-country ski rental in the Sorel-Tracy area
All-ski day is required!
- Schedule: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm ;
- Specialized companies: Fischer (Sale of cross-country ski equipment) and waxing with Swix (Sale of wax equipment) ;
- Waxing table;
- Story time and book consultation.
