The Summit Drive invites you to conquer 19 peaks throughout the year and explore our 193 km marked scenic route!
Located in the heart of the world’s first International Dark Sky Reserve, the Summit Drive offers breathtaking views of majestic mountains, shimmering lakes, and a sky filled with thousands of stars.
The Summit Drive is proud to announce the launch of the 3rd edition of the Summit Drive Challenge, an outdoor challenge open to everyone, designed to showcase the stunning peaks and hiking trails along this marked tourist route in the Eastern Townships.
Two challenges for all levels:
Adventure Challenge: Climb all 6 peaks between June 2025 and May 2026! This challenge is designed for experienced hikers, families looking to push their limits, and outdoor enthusiasts seeking a greater challenge.
Elevation Challenge: Climb as many peaks as possible along the Summit Drive to reach the total elevation of Mount Everest! With its 19 accessible peaks and 2 national parks, the Summit Drive is the ultimate playground for outdoor fanatics eager to rise above their limits.
How to participate:
- Climb the peaks between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026.
- Take a selfie with the “Summit Meeting” sign or any distinctive feature found at the summit.
- Register here and upload your photos along with the date you completed the challenge.
- For the Elevation Challenge: submit the link to your Strava activity, a GPX file, or any other proof of your total elevation gain.
