This November, the Old Port of Montréal will transform itself once again into a winter wonderland with all sorts of activities for every taste and everyone!

A Magical Setting
As the winter settles in, the Old Port wraps itself in a white coat and turns up the magic. Featuring a refrigerated surface and a backdrop like no other, the Old Port Skating Rink becomes the polestar of the historic Old Montreal district. The rink opens December 14 and welcomes skaters until March 9. Visitors can also explore the Old Port's heritage while enjoying the fresh air along the riverside with the outdoor photo exhibition The Old Port of Montréal – A Landmark in Canada’s History located along the Alexandra Basin.

Breathtaking Views
La Grande Roue de Montréal observation wheel offers visitors stunning and snowy views of the city and sky from 60 metres up. Adventurous types can enjoy zipline flights at MTL Zipline until December 15 and admire the city from a bird’s-eye view like none other at Canada’s largest urban zipline circuit.

Fascinating and Immersive Experiences at the Science Centre
The Montréal Science Centre invites you to its latest and highly engaging feature exhibition, Banquet, to explore all the fantastic science at work in the kitchen and in the culinary world. The Science Centre is also proud to present a reboot of its ever-popular exhibition, now called Fabrik2, a creative workshop space where visitors put their hands and ingenuity to work to imagine and build inventions.

The Horizon of Khufu: A Virtual Journey Into Ancient Egypt
PHI brings the immersive virtual reality experience The Horizon of Khufu to the Old Port and takes visitors back to ancient Egypt with a 45-minute adventure exploring the inside of the Great Pyramid of Giza, a hidden realm usually forbidden to the public.

Relaxation and Fine Dining on the Water
Bota-Bota, spa-sur-l’eau offers visitors an oasis of spa care with hot and cold baths and panoramic views of the icy St. Lawrence. The renowned Bateau-Mouche experience offers visitors a fine dining winter experience with a high-end menu served aboard a ship moored in the Old Port’s Clock Tower Basin complete with a spectacular view of the skyline right from the river’s edge.

New Culinary Attraction
Les Eaux Douces restaurant joins the Old Port’s rich gastronomical landscape as the city’s new culinary hub with an innovative offer of local and seasonal flavours served up in a modern, warm and welcoming atmosphere.
