Archaeology: a scientific adventure
We always imagine the archaeologist excavating with their trowel and brush in search of treasure buried beneath layers of soil. But once the treasure is discovered, the work really begins, fortunately, archaeologists can count on a plethora of tools to help them : archaeosciences.
This exhibition reveals the unsuspected toolbox of today's archaeologists. How do physics, chemistry, biology, geology, as well as new technologies help archaeologists to study and decode the artifact's stories? What if you, young and old, were to take part in this scientific adventure? A captivating, immersive, enriching and fun experience reintroducing the science lab you thought you knew!
