Parc des Montagnes Noires de Ripon

Outaouais - Ottawa

In the heart of the Papineau Regional County Municipality, in the Outaouais region, surrounded by nature.

Located 80 km northeast of Gatineau and 150 km west of Montreal, the Park des Montagnes Noires in Ripon is an outdoor and scenic center amidst natural landscapes, offering over 28 km of diverse trails, sledding tracks, and a variety of activities!

As the second-highest peak in the region, after Mont-Tremblant, this massif provides breathtaking views from its observation tower, offering a 360° panorama, and its lookout situated at an altitude of 426 meters. You can also stay overnight in one of its four rustic shelters or on a wild and intimate camping site.

In the summer, enjoy hiking, mountain biking, cani-cross, geocaching, and an orienteering course for children. In winter, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ski-hok, Austrian sledding, fat biking, and tube sliding are activities to be enjoyed with friends, family, or as a couple - even with your canine friends, as long as they are on a leash. Use your own equipment or rent on-site.

As you can see, you can visit us in any season!
