The Régates de Valleyfield return to celebrate their 84th edition on July 5, 6, 11, 12, 13 & 14!
This world-class sports and cultural festival features hydroplane racing with five boat categories and top speeds of 250 km/h. On the program: three days of racing and five evening shows.
Evening program
Our festivities kick off with two free evening events on July 5 and 6, 2024. The stage will host Boy Band Story and Hommage au BB by Ludovick Bourgeois on Friday, while DJ Domeno and friends will perform on Saturday for the return of the DJ night.
July 11 marks the return of Country Night with none other than Brittany Kennell and Coco Country Band, with special guests Guylaine Tanguay and Martin Deschamps. A hip-hop evening with Souldia and a renowned mystery guest is scheduled for July 12, and finally, Volume 10 and Les Trois Accords will bring the 84th edition's evening shows to a close on July 13.
Racing component
The most eagerly awaited event on the Hydroplane Racing League (HRL) circuit will once again welcome over 90 racing teams. All classes (Novice, Vintage, JSS, 2.5-liter, Formula 2500, Hydro 350, Pro Hydro and Grand Prix) will be presented.
A hydroplane is a plane with its wings removed. Add to this definition a top speed of up to 225 km/h, skids and extreme sensations. Without a doubt, the Régates de Valleyfield are unique in North America.
